Swamp Popper Polymer coated Hard Cast Lead Bullets

Swamp Popper Bullets are hard cast bullets with a proprietary blend of three distinct polymers that create a soft but durable polymer jacket. Our coating has been tested to the extreme. We have heated our polymer coated bullets with a flame to the point of the lead melting, and it doesn’t burn. We have smashed our polymer coated bullets with a sledgehammer on an anvil until the bullet is flat, and the coating does not chip, peal or delaminate from the alloy.
We carry a number of different caliber bullets in 9mm, 38/357, 40 Cal., and 45 Cal.. Our customers use our coated bullets to shoot Cowboy action, USPSA, IPSC, IDPA Steel and more. Shooters and reloaders from competitive shooters to weekend enthusiast can be assured that your guns will remain free of lead or polymer fouling. There is no smoke due to wax because there is no wax.
Our proprietary blend of polymers start with a wet basecoat as a primer that bonds to the lead. Then we add the two part top coat that bonds with the primer layer. At this point the coated bullets are heated to combine the three polymers and create cohesion. There is no need to run the lead through the heat process over and over again.
This is not powder coat, or Hi-Tek polymer coating. There is nothing else out there like it that we know of. We have been able to show that a hard cast lead bullet coated with our proprietary polymer coating has less recoil and more velocity with the same powder charge compared to a similarly loaded FMJ bullet. In fact, in early testing we have shown as much as 100 to 150 FPS increase in velocity. We believe that there is as much as 50% reduction in recoil.
